cannot activate the product

I cannot activate the product. I always get an error

"We were unable to send your e-mail verification mail.
An unknown error occurred while processing your request. This is most likely due to a connection failure. Please try again"
I tried many days and that is what I get.

    I've been getting the same error for 2 weeks now.  Incredibly frustrating.  Almost like Microsoft just wants to make our lives as miserable as possible.
