  Hello,

  Short answer: yes.

  Long answer: To be clear, there is no "Visual Basic Standard Edition" as there is only one Visual Studio Standard Edition that includes support for VB,C#, C++ and J# but yes, with Visual Studio Standard Edition, you can use Visual Basic and SQL Server Reporting Services.

  I thought my short answer "yes" was pretty clear

  To be absolutely explicit, SQL Server Reporting Services will work with SQL Server Express and Visual Studio Standard Edition. As I stated before, there is no such thing as "VB Standard Edition" as there is only one version of Standard, known as Visual Studio Standard Edition and that includes support for all languages.

  Hope this clears up any confusion.

  Sad to say but there is no available reporting tool in the Express products. You'll have to purchase Professional edition or higher to have a reporting tool (crystal reports) to be included in the IDE...
