Visual Studo C# 2005 Express Edition 8.0.50727.42 one bug?

Hello,

I didn't find the product feedback center so I post it here, maybe somebody at MS finds this message :-)

I have moved from Beta2 to Final today (worked great :-) only SQLEXPR failed at first (but using hidden dialogs and setting the services as local system (XPPro ! in Domain) worked well).

The bug
Maybe something from the beta2-created sln file:

The SolutionExplorer - Treeview does not sync with the current open source file (the treeview even looses it's focus when the source file is clicked). Somebody has  forgotten to set HideSelection to False  Big Smile

The rest of the final works great, MS - the VS Team did a good job on this Big Smile

Regards,
Peter

    Hi Peter,

I'm really glad that you are enjoying Visual Studio 2005.  We've put a lot into the product, and it is really gratifying to hear when customers appreciate our efforts.

You can actually get the behavior that you're looking for, you just need to change an option. Smile  Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Options...".  Expand the "Projects and Solutions" tree and select the "General" node.  Now check the box that says "Track Active Item in Solution Explorer".  That's it!

For future reference, the product feedback center is located here:
