There is not a Release Candidate version available for the Express Editions, other than the slightly older August CTP which is available at http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/get/default.aspx#express. The good news is that the *final* version will be availble in just under 6 weeks!
Certainly looks like a late build version with that sort of build number.
If the link is not available any more that may be a sign that it shouldnt have been publicly available.
Unless Your running into any issues with Beta 2 there is not a great deal of feature difference between the two. And as we are only about a month away from the final release you dont have too long to wait.
Are you sure the it was a Release Candidate of the Express Builds What was the Build number.
If so, the person who put up the link may have realized that this wasnt a good idea as Microsoft were not putting out to the public any Release Candidates of the Express SKU's and therefore may have pulled the link.
I'm sure Luke, knows about what was officially released to the public (being as though he is a Program Manager at Microsoft). But he doesn't know where you specifically downloaded it from and who put up the link.
Somewhere, they are available. Someone from MSDN blogs was giving a link and I actually downloaded and installed. Then I switched back to Beta2 and now don't find the download link anymore :/
