After repeated attempts to Remove the Beta components and re-install the Production SqlExpress I want to completely remove all SQLSerrver components to start with a CLEAN slate.

Have a look at this site and follow the links, on the site are links to some tools that can be used. I have used these in the past with no problems and the systems are cleaned up completely.
