Hi everyone. I'm trying to access the free downloads that come with registration, but I only see the Web Developer downloads listed. I don't see the icons, components, or book that come with C#. I assume they would all be listed on one page, but they aren't there. How can I find them
Thanks,
John Salerno
P.S. I don't understand how to download what *is* there either. The link to the Web Developer book says it's a pdf, but when you download it, the file is an aspx file that won't do anything when opened in WD. When opened in an internet browser, it just tries to download itself again. Maybe the site will be updated and fixed tomorrow.

Cannot Access Free Registration Materials via Thank-You Emails

My undertanding is that you have to register with Connect. Once registered, you get access to a number of benefits through the portal, including free components and downloadable manuals. The problem is, you have to get past this registration bug in order to get to the portal.
I guess no one from Microsoft monitors these forums Is there anyone from Microsoft who can suggest what the problem is and how to fix it

Never did find out where the 'benefits' are at.

I think there's a problem with the site right now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I'm having a problem accessing the free registration materials. I've been able to install all of the express edition applications and use the link in the about menu to register them. For each application I have received a thank-you email with a link to download free registration materials.
The first link is to the Registration Benefit Portal. When I click this link, I receive an error in large red font that reads "Error: Object has changed on database since it was loaded and cannot be saved or deleted". I tried clicking the link in all of these emails, but it appears its the same link each time, resulting in the error message.
Any idea what I might be doing wrong or is the site just down

I registered for 2 express editions, vb and c# but I'm able to access contents related to C# only (which I registered after VB)
ps: when I had only VB registered, I was getting page access errors same like others.

I'm getting the same problem. I've filled out the form many times now and get the same error. Does anyone know how to get past this error Is there some way to bypass the registration, since I've registered VC# Express and my passport, I can't see why I'm registering again for something else.
Thanks
Steve

I thought maybe the username it's asking me for in the preliminary questions was already taken so I tried a few different ones but same problem happens.
