Missing documentation: System.ComponentModel

  Sorry that I am answering myself in this thread, but the issue remains after reinstalling from a CD image. The first install was done via an internet connection. I get no errors at all during the setup, but System.ComponentModel, including all the involved classes, is still missing from the documentation.
  
  My System is Windows 2000 with the lastest security updates and a Visual Studio 2003 is still installed on the machine.
  
  Is anyone else experiencing this problem

  I used the repair option soon after I posted to the forum, but nothing changed. Looks like I am going to reinstall the whole thing. Perhaps this will help. The (still) installed Visual Studio 2003 never showed this kind of behaviour.

  I also got this problem. I even tested the installation on 2 different computers.
  
  My solution was to download the .Net Framework SDK 2.0 and install the documentation over VC# Express 2005.
  Now I can see the whole documentation, even inside Visual Studio.

  I have it in my documentation.  You might try going into Add & Remove Programs under the Control Panel, find the MSDN Express Documentation, click on the Change/Remove button, and then repair the installation.

  You just made my day! This solved the problem. This is most likely not the way it was meant to be done by Microsoft, but what the heck - it works. Perhaps Microsoft will react to the bug report I filed.

  Maybe why I didn't have a problem because I had already installed the SDK before installing the Express systems.
