Have just installed and registerd VB Express. I received an email with a link to the registrations benefits page (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/ LinkId=52054). This link leads however to Microsoft Connect, not the registration benefits page. The link given in the Express Registration FAQ is the same incorrect link.
Judging from this forum, this seems to be quite common. has anyone got a working link to the page
Cheers

There is a bug in the registration process. If you try to register and decide for whatever reason to create a new passport id, then follow the links to the registration page, you will not get the benefits page. What I did was separately create a specific passport id just for the one product. Once I had verified my passport id and email, I then registered the product. You are asked to complete a questionaire of personal information and interests. It will then take you to connect.microsoft.com and should show Visual Studio 2005 Express Program as the program you are involved with. If you do not see this listed in My Particpations then the registration process did not work. I also found that using the same passport id as the one used to register SQL Express also gave this problem.

Once at the benefits page, there is a link to "My Participation". If you click that link, it will take you to the registration benefits portal, where you can DL varying things.

Today (Jan 1 2006) the link works. Takes me to the following page:
https://connect.microsoft.com/downloads/downloads.aspx SiteID=40

That link works fine for me.
