Maybe not the right place to post this but I cant see where else I should. I have Visual Studio Express C++ and Visual Studio Exress C# install willed. But neither will uninstall. They both get as far as "Setup is loading installation components. This may take a minute or two". It gets a few bars in and then stops. I've left it 15 minutes but it just hangs.
I need to deinstall both because I have bought Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition.
Any help appreciated. Thanks!

After using Visual C++ 2005 Express for the 30 day period and finally acquiring the full version of Visual Studio 2005, I tried to uninstall.
Uninstall stopped in the middle. After I killed it through the Task manager as it would not move in an hour, I can not continue the deinstall: it now says something is missing for the deinstall.
This happens with both the English and the German language versions of Visual C++ 2005 Express.
How can we get Microsoft to deliver some help on this issue
I need to install Visual Studio 2005 and continue my work!

I would try creating the actual CD and not using the virtual drive, there may be problems loading from the virtual drive systems.

I have a similar problem, although for Install. When I try to install Visual Basic 2005 xpress from a downloaded iso (mounted on virtual drive) it only gets as far as "Setup is loading installation components. This may take a minute or two", it runs about 1/3 of the bars, then stops and exits after a while, without any error.
Any suggestions
