I downloaded and installed Microsoft Office 2007 Beta and have discovered a problem with the Excel .Net references when working with VB 2005, but can't find where to report it.
The 2007 version causes overload errors in the part of my code that accesses Excel. I had to reload the Excel 2003 .Net advanced option and load Excel 2007 without the .Net advanced option to get rid of the errors.
This is my first experience using a Beta product from Microsoft and I thought I woud be able to find a link easily to report things like this, so if I'm just looking in the wrong spot, I would appreciate being redirected.
Thanks!
Cindy

I completely understand that it's Beta and that using Microsoft Beta products is like trying to skirt around quicksand in a man-eating-python-rich jungle. I thought the purpose of using Beta products was to bring out problems so they could be fixed before production -- that was my intent when I downloaded Office 2007. I just thought it would be easier to find a place to report these problems.
(and as much as I regard most Microsoft products with a high level of initial skepticism, I'm very impressed so far with what they've done to Office 2007.)

From a VB 2005 point of view
http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/productfeedback/
should provide you with a mechanism to log a bug
You might want to log this with Visual Studio Tools for Office

Thanks, Spotty. The link lets me submit a bug report for programming products, but not for Microsoft Office products. I really think that this is an Office problem because I had no problems with the .Net reference from Office 2003.
Got any other ideas

But Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) deals with VS / Office interop - so i'd log it there for the time being - they will have to address this problem anyway and will route it to the correct person.
