Yesterday. I printed off the re-download instructions at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/support.instal/. It all seems too involved at the moment, especially as u need 3rd party software ($ unknown) to do a burn. I don't know the difference between iIMG and .ISO files either. Most importantly, I don't know what effect it will have on any existing Projects u have in your C:/...My Documents/Visual Studio 2005 Express folder either. I have VB/SQL/Web Designer.
So until I have some free time, I'm simply burning the latter folder of my projects to CD after an hour or so's solid changes. So far, the folder on my PC is just under 40Mb so only takes a minute or so using RecordNow! software, which appears to be the only data cd burner I have. I also print off the application source of my current project at the same time.
