I try to install SQL server 2005 express, but not success. pls advise,

Let me ask a question...
How many of you are running AMD processors
I'm running AMD Turion64 and I haven't been able to install SQL 2000 or 2005 dev/ent/etc.
Do you have the same issue because sql 2005 is not supporting 64bit processors properly

Tried installing SQL Server 2005 Express Edition from CD got from Microsoft But after reboot no magic works.

Also at the time of installation firewall should be disabled.
Otherwise it may halt the installation at "Detecting Installed IIS" step

It appears that you need to reboot your machine. The min hardware requirement is a warning and installation should proceeed once you reboot.
