How to get an activation key

This is the message I am getting from the beginning when I try to register my Visual C# 2005 Express Edition Beta.

"Our records indicate that you have exceeded your limit of verification e-mail messages. Check your Inbox to confirm that an e-mail message has already been sent. If you are unable to locate a verification e-mail message, please visit Contact Us to request assistance."

However, I have never received a verification message.
A visit to 'Contact Us' ran dead since nobody there knows how to help me.

    There is a continue button, but it takes me back to the registration form.

    Since there is no mail, I cannot send it to Contact Us.
    Not that Contact Us has a mail address to send it to ... all they have is a form, which requires me to select my product, but my product is not listed.

    I'm sorry you weren't able to resolve the issue with Contact Us.  I'm working with them to be properly trained to support this process moving forward.

    In the meantime, on the page where you receive the "Pending Limit" exceeded error, there should be a "Continue" button which will help you.  If there is not, please send the URL in the address bar after you sign-in to Passport along with this information to vsrghlp@microsoft.com

    To clear the pending limit on your account, go through https://profile.microsoft.com to add your email address to your Profile and when you hit the error there send Contact Us the mail with repro steps from that context.  This will hopefully avoid the confusion for them while I work it out for good.
