Visual C# 2005 Express Edition...on Windows XP SP1

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to install the VC# 2005 Express Edition on my Win XP SP1 computer. I can't upgrade becoz the SP2 doesn't work stable on my computer and with my ISP. Im forced to stay on SP1, is there anyway i can install the VC# IDE on my present pc....
The online installer i downloaded does not allow me to proceed until I'm done with the upgrading.

thank you for your replies, i think i better upgrade to SP2 coz i dont wanna miss .net 2.0, and by the way I do have a legal copy of windows and no need to suspect me close there..

Unfortunately not. Both the Express editions and the full editions of Visual Studio require Service Pack 2 when running on XP, as does the 2.0 .NET Framework.

Your choice is to upgrade to XP SP2, or be stuck with the 1.1 framework as VS2003 at most.

Well I meant no disrespect by what I've posted...sorry if it seemed so!

Sometimes people can get a computer with an illegitament copy of windows pre-installed!

It is possible that you don't have a legit copy of windows!

Your ISP has nothing to do with SP2!!

I hope this post has been helpful
