Visual C# Express Help complaining that I am not online

I have run into the same problem with Visual Web Developer- express edition. I cannot access any help files that are online, but only local help files. I've checked the appropriate help options correctly, have an active connection, and my ISP says that there is nothing on their end that would prevent this from working properly. There is no proxy server involved. If anyone has insight into this problem- PLEASE HELP!!

This is actually a limitation of the Help system, one which we unfortunately couldn't fix.

Links to topics that aren't part of the MSDN Library for Visual Basic Express Editions (a subset of the full MSDN Library) will display the Information Not Found page. The workaround is to use the Search functionality to get to the topic.

The topic "Troubleshooting Visual Basic Express" http://msdn2.microsoft.com/library/ms172574(en-US,VS.80).aspx explains this; there is no equivalent topic for C# Express but the information applies to both.

    Hope this helps,
