SPS 2003 is not compatible with VSTF.  The version you need is Windows Sharepoint Services (WSS).

The link can be found here (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx FamilyID=efdc7227-549c-4de1-a063-783f71a8bb2b&DisplayLang=en)

For this BETA2 release of the Visual Studio Team Foundation the installation must be prefromed specifically as outlined in the Visual Studio Team Foundation guide.< xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urnTongue Tiedchemas-microsoft-comSurprisefficeSurpriseffice" />>>

The requirements of installation are for specifically Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 with Service Pack 1 >>

Please note that Windows SharePoint Services installs a special instance of Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE). At this time, Windows SharePoint services cannot be installed using the Team Foundation Server SQL Server instance. You are attempting to install the SharePoint site to your Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 version which is not supported at this time.>>

Please review the following from the dv_VSETInstall.chm located in the root of the installation source.>>

    To install Windows SharePoint Services>>

This was caused most likely by installing the version of Sharepoint that comes with Windows 2003. When you install IIS, please make sure that you do not install FrontPage 2002 Server Extension.

To resolve this problem, you need to follow the exact steps to install IIS and WSS in the deployment guide (dv_VSETInstall.chm is at the root of the CD).

    Thanks,

    Hi
Thanks for your mail. But I've already mentioned on my mail regarding WSS. Again I've uninstalled and tried. But no luck.

Please let me know is there any other way to kill this.

    Regards,
    Raghu.
