Unable to connect to the database STS_Config

Hi Dan,
Thanks for your answer.
1)It's the B3R.
2) Yes, it's a clean install on a WIN2003 enterprise SP1 computer.
(However, WIN2003 has not been installed from scratch, it comes from a sysprep.)
No, WSS SP2 has been installed one time only, before the installation of TFS.
SQL Server 2005 std has been installed before WSS SP2.
3) My http://localhost is OK and shows windows Sharepoint services web page.
4) in SQL2005 i have the following databases :
STS_CONFIG (with a TFSSERVICE domain user in security group)
STS_FOUNDATION_1
In IIS, the "services" virtual directoy runs under the TFS AppPool application pool.
This application pool executes under TFSSERVICE domain user.
Thanks,
Arno

Looks like everything is working now.
I'm not sure about the problems you've been seeing but it looks like it is intermittent. Is this problem (NT Event Log) being reported by Sharepoint or by TFS Could it have been due to a transient network connectivity issue
Can you remember what you were attempting to do when this error gets logged
Thanks,
Cuzzlor
Hi Dan,
I don't see often this message in the event log, only 2 times since I've installed my foundation server. (2 weeks)
Yes, I'm able to create team project and I can browse using the "Show project portal" menu.
Thanks,
Arno

Arno,
Sorry for the problems you are having.
Can you tell me:
This looks like a Sharepoint configuration issue...
Thanks,
Noizu
Arno,
Well it looks like everything is configured correctly, so this event log seems puzzling.
Thanks,
