Is there any way to assign two resources or more for a workitem?

  No, there is currently no way to accomplish this.

  Sorry Guino, as other members have responded, there is currently no way (including modifying template) to assign a work item to more than one person.

  If I'm reading that correctly, its saying that its Resolved and the resolution is Won't Fix. That mean we shouldn't expect something like this in a future release

  Just to let them know, we are another company that would like to have this feature.

  There are a lot of activities that can't be separated to a point where those correspond to only one user, like Pair Programming...

  I had the same problem.Needed to assign a task among 2 developers. My workaround was done in MS Project, I assigned lets say 200% of resources to the task (2 developers assigned) , created a new column (ie. Outline Column 1) with a custom lookup values (developers name groups) and finally group the gantt chart by this column. In this way I can control the timmings and dates appropiately , I can control my shared tasks + I can publish/refresh from TFS to update progress.

  This is assuming though there is a 'task" owner in TFS that will update for the overall progress of the Work Item (task).

  Similar vote here, might be nice to have a drop down field control in the assigned to that had check-boxes next to names so you could 'multiple-assign' and then perhaps just store the values as a comma delimited list and operate on that.

  This should not only apply to the Assigned To field because it can be very interesting for other fields too, to be able to assign more than one value.

  You cannot assign to multiple entries in the Assigned To drop down.  However, if you're thinking of something like having a DEV and TEST owner for each work item, you can definitely add a Dev Owner and Test Owner field to the work item type where each field has a drop down like the Assigned To list.

  Adding to What Nikody had posted, what you could do is to define a summary task in project that is parent of the two work item and set "do not publish" on that. This way you have the break down you need while not loosing the ability to manage schedule.

  Yup, another vote here too. Our process could really do with this feature. Assigning a work item to multiple people so that they all get the notifications.

  If I'm reading that correctly (the link from paso), it looks like its not something that is going to be considered It says its "Resolved" and the resolution is "Won't Fix"...

  At this point in time I do not believe that you can assign a work item to more then one person, but let me check on that and I will get back to you.

  One way to get past this problem would be to create two seperate work items, one for each person, and you can put a related link on these two work items
