A new Team Project adds work items when you create it. Many of the steps regard working with documents such as the Vision Document.
Is there a way to easily attach the Vision Document to a work item task regarding getting it done

Attach Team Project file to a task

You can create links from a work item to files that are in source control. You can't create links to files that are in share point.
To create a link to a source control file, bring up the work item. Click on the Links tab in the work item form. Click the Add button. In the dialog that comes up, choose Source Code File in the combo box. Then click the ... button to navigate to the desired source code file. Write a comment in the description field if you wish and hit OK.
