I've added an additional Agent to my rig. The new agent registered itself with the controller as seen in the Adminsiter Test Controller dialogue. The named-pair values for my agents in the Distributed test run config file match that specified via the Admin Test Controller.
I removed the newly added Agent and still received the same error message.
Any idea of what is causing this issue

"No Agent machines matched the selection criteria" - error after adding another Agent

What name/value pairs are specified on the Agent Properites dialog for each agent in your rig (select an agent in the "Admin Test Controller" dialog and click the Properties button)
Do they match the values that appear in the test run config under "Controller and Agent"
Are you sure you're looking at the correct test run config
Check these values and let me know if you still need help.
Thanks,

A common mistake (due to the misleading UI) is to put the names of the agents in the run config. If you want to run on all the agents, don't put any names in the agent selection criteria. Like Rick said, names you enter on this dialog must match agent criteria you specify in the Controller Admin | Agent Properties dialog.

"I'm inclined to agree with Ed that there is some confusing UI text messaging. For example, when deleting a cell of a name/value pair, a dialogue pops up stating: "You specified to execute test run remotely on the local machine" (incongruent) "Are you sure you want to do that instead of just executing locally " That message lead me to believe I needed a set of name/pair values to run all agents in my rig--I was confused by how it was worded."
This error message simply means the controller name you specified is your current local machine. Is that the case here

What purpose does the grid in the testrunconfig editor serve for both local and remote

I had installed QA-AGENT1 on a freshly imaged win2000 professional machine. I did receive an error message to update to MDAC 2.6 or higher necessary for .Net 2.0. Although I doubt it's relevent to the "No agents matched", I thought I'd mention that condition.
