I should point out that the readme file that came with the MSDN download lists the password as pass@word1, with the lowercase "p".

That is unless the readme has been updated within the past three days, in which case please disregard this message!

You can find the latest VSTS VPC on MSDN Subscribers site and it will expire at 01 July or 01 June.

Yes, there is. It should be ready sometime later this month.

This VPC designed especially for VSTS with all pre-installed products. I think that I saw in MSDN flash some link to download SQL 2005 sample databases. Try to search MSDN.

  • wrtoomes

I did search MSDN for the samples but could not find any.

This VPC has the Adventureworks SQL Samples (analysis serv, BI etc..). I am looking for the samples that was used to demo the features of VSTS (profiling, unit testing, check-in policies etc..).

Any help/info in this regard will be appreciated.

Thanks David for that info. I finally managed to download it today.

I notice that the VPC does not seem to have the Adventureworks sample, like the earlier VPC's. Any ideas on where i can find the sample to load it into the VPC

    thanks in advance
