I have found an issue with the Visual Studio 2005 Web Test which is preventing me from recording any further scripts.
Each time I attempt to record a new test it no longer records the URLs visited. The left had pane in IE normally displays information on the Web Test tool and information on URLs visited.
This appears as just a grey panel – I’ve also noticed that the PC is running very slowly and the memory usage is maxing-out at 100%. (The PC I’m using is a P4 1.8GHz with 712MB RAM.)
I have been able to record several tests in the last week without any issues and this problem has only just arisen. -
Things I have already tried:
Restarting MS Vis Studio 2005
Restarting IE
Running MS Vis Studio 2005 without any other applications open (so that it has more memory)Restarting the PC (twice)
Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem - I thought I would ask before doing a complete reinstall

Hi Philip, this may be due to the recorder bar's registry entries getting corrupted. Can you try running setup and doing a repair to see if that takes care of the problem
