I have downloaded the latest MSSCCI provider for Team Foundation Server that was published today. The .MSI is about 1.06mb. I am able to complete most of the installation but during the last few percent a message appears with the following error:
"The cabinet file '_DE4122DA27BBE897D870DBB37A5A532C' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."
I have tried installing a few times on different machines. I have also tried re-downloading a few times from different machines with different browsers.
The download page on the Microsoft site also has a problem: if the download does not auto-start and you click the "click here if it does not auto start" link you get the Beta2 version.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or correct the file available on the Microsoft website.
Thank you,
- Jason

Same problem...
I noticed that the size of the MSI is twice less significant than for the beta2

Yeah, I got the same problem. I'm using SQL Server 2005, VS Team Suite (both RTM versions) and I can't figure out how to get it to install.

Try downloading the installation file again. When it was announced earlier today, the download page was unfortunately not completely ready and actually had the old installation.

Unfortunately, the file on the download page is corrupt. It will be replaced today.

I get the same "The cabinet file '_DE4122DA27BBE897D870DBB37A5A532C' ..." error too.
I've played the reboot game, clear cache and redownload game, etc, etc and still no joy.
In looking at the Files table in the MSI it looks like the setup is gacking on the fourth file...
Here's a snip from the log....

So I'm guessing the download or the MSI is jacked
BTW, I just downloaded the RTM version just about an hour ago and that's what generated the above error...
I did not have any of the beta's installed, but do have VS Team Suite and TFS Team Explorer (RTM) installed.

I just downloaded it again, and still the same problem.
