VS 2005 RC & Team

I have installed VS 2005 RC and I am confused...I cannot see any menu items to the Team functionalities. How can I connect to a team server

Am I the only one in this situation or was the Team stuff left out of the RC I did a full install by the way.

Did I miss something Thanks.

I'm trying to install VSTS RC1 with SQL Server 2005 Standard and Team Foundation Client from Beta 3. I'm getting an error that wants me to uninstall Team System and SQL Server Express (which I elected to not install). Is this an issue Do I need to use the trial version Help! I can't use Team System with RC1.

    Hi,

You are right. I checked as well and I dont see any of the Team functionalities.
The installer was however called Team Suite.

They are planning to release the Beta 3 of Team Foundation Server soon, I wonder if they will release a client extensions pack along with that for VS2005 RC which will add the team features.

Team Suite won't have any Team Foundation functionality until Team Explorer is installed (this is a post-Beta2 change, since we're not shipping TFS at the same time as the rest of VSTS).

When the Beta3 TFS comes out, you can install Team Explorer from those bits, but the VSTS client SKUs themselves don't include Team Explorer (Because of the offset schedule) anymore.

    Same thing for me.

Looks like there is no Team functionalities in the VS 2005 RC Team Suite....

Not through my MSDN it isn't. If you know where to locate it, the one that is not the trial edition, I appreciate it.
