I failed twice trying to create new project now I am trying to delete and getting the above error MyServer is the server name.
I am logged on with an account that is a member of the local adimistrators group.
If I go to http://localhost/ I get page cannot be displayed
If I go to http://localhost:8080/ I get HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden
I've added TFSSETUP to local admins group also since failing to create projects. Does anybody have a check list of security options to setup

TF30063: You are not authorized to access MyServer

I've put service and report accounts into Local Admins group but I think I have a bigger problem becuase when I try to access any web sites now I get a page not found error even though the web publishing service is runnning. Am I at the point where I need to start again from the beginning
What I really could do with is a check list such as Log On as a menber of local admins then Try A
Try B
Etc and
marouane
We are trying to uncover and address exactly what permissions are required (for TFS Service and TFS Reports accounts) for both setup and running project creation, as there have been numerous postings about this
Placing these accounts in your local admin group (see http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn/ShowPost.aspx PostID=96872) may alleviate your problems, but this is not a long term solution as it represents a security risk.
I would recommend trying the workaround on another thread first: the solution was to provide the TFSService account with Modify permissions on the ASP1.1 Temp File Folders. See http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn/ShowPost.aspx PostID=95559, page 2 posting by Gregory Williams.

Did you check to see if the default web site has been extended
I also noticed on another thread that you installed WSS SP2. Is this correct
GEO_Barrett
Did installation occur without any errors
The Sharepoint default web site may not have been successfully extended. PCW will fail until this is properly configured.
Can you browse to the sharepoint central admin site (Start->Programs->Admin tools->Sharepoint Central Administration), and check your sharepoint server extensions for the default web site.
Is this a single or dual server install Is it installed on a domain or a workgroup Was this on a clean set of machines
What version of Windows Sharepoint is installed
Thanks,
FireSon
Hope this helps.
