SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition won't load on Windows XP Pro with SP2

Each time I attempt to load SQL 2000 Ent on my Laptop with XP SP2 I recveive the following error.

"Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition server component is not supported on this opperating system. ....."

Developer version installed fine. I had it installed before SP2 but now I reveive this error.

Am I missing something here

Thanks but I could have sworn that I had it loaded in the past. I guess I must have been mistaken.

SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition cannot be installed on Windows XP.
