Report/Query Parameters

Hi Group,

I'm getting a bit confused as to how Reporting Services work with parameters.

I've got a query that uses 8 parameters 4 are optional(i.e is not required). I've applied all the necessary settings and am able to run the report via the Report Designer without inputting the optional parameters and the correct results are returned. However when I deploy the report and try running the report without the optional parameters I get a message saying the the parameter is required.

What can I do to fix this
