Hello!
I have sql server 2000(sp2) rs installed on one of my mashine and I am using VS,NET 2005 to develop some reports.
At the deploing step I am getting some error:
"Connection could not be made to the report server http://..."
Additional information on error message says:
"The attempt to connect to report server failed.Check your connection information and that report server is a compatible version. (Microsoft.ReportingServices.Designer)."
Can't find any information about this issue. Is there anything I have to do to fix this.

I have vs2005 with rs2005 installed and I still get the same problem.
I have been trying anything I could think about, but nothing helps.
Here are my details:
TargetDataSourceFolder: Data Sources
TargetReportFolder: reportserver
TargetServerURL: http://localhost/reportserver
Whats am I doing wrong The iis is properly installed....

Reports made in VS2005 are not compatible with the 2000 version of Reporting Services. You will need RS2005 to work with VS2005 reports.
