Our RS 2005 - Evaluation Version has expired .... does anyone know if it is possible to copy existing RS reports from an evaluation server to another server How is this done Thanks. RS 2005 is already installed on the new server.

You can use the reporting services configuration tool to configure the new report server to use the existing report server database.
Connect the configuration tool to the report server, then use the database setup tab to use the existing report server database.
If you have a back up of the symmertric key for the existing database, you'll need to restore the key on the Encryption Key tab. Otherwise, select delete encrypted content on the same tab - you'll need to re-enter connection strings to any data sources and usernames/passwords. Otherwise all of your data and settings will be preserved.

Thank you for responding, Lukasz. A question, Would your recommendation just 'point' to our evaluation server RS Database or does it get copied to the new server by the reporting services configuration tool We will eventually be taking down the evaluation server completely. Thanks.

You can just move the database from the server - just copy the MDF and LDF files and attach them to your new server. We do not copy the contents of the database.

Got it!! I was able to migrate over to the new server cleanly. All existing RS reports intact from the evaluation server.
