Hi, Im having difficulty getting a report to work with SSRS for SQL server 2005. The server configuration utility looks fine, but when i try to deploy a report, or access the site, i get:

Internal error in fresh install of reporting services

I have been dealing with this same problem for days. I have tried installations on 3 computers: a Win2k Server (PDS), a WinXP Server, and a WinXP Pro workstation. I get the same problems. SQL2005 activity monitor shows that the SQL login I created for the RS database connection has multiple connections to the ReportServer database.
What is the null reference here

Yea i am getting the same error as well i have this installed on windows 2000 pro SP4 and running SQL 2005 developer edtion and creating reports in VS 2005 Pro... when i try deploying i get the error ...
Error 1 An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. 0 0
then i check my log and i see:

Win XP SP2
SQL2005 Developer Edition in a new instance with Reporting Services
SQL2000 as default instance
MS Visual Studio 2005

From the first log file:
ReportServerDatabaseUnavailableException: The report server cannot open a connection to the report server database. A connection to the database is required for all requests and processing.
This seems to indicate your connection to the report server database either is not configured correctly or your SQL Server is not accessible to the report server. You might try reapplying the database settings in the Reporting Services configuration tool. On the database page, click apply again. It should run through a process on the bottom of the page telling you whether things were successful. At that point, it should have connected to the report server database.
From the second log file:
It does not contain an error - is there a reportserver_<date>.log file that does contain the internal error
