I currently can't connecto to my database in SQL Server 2005 (enterprise) but as soon as I try to use any functions, I get cryptic errors found below. I am about to pull my hair out. Everything was working fine for around 4 days and now everything just blows up. I've tried using both sql authentification and also windows:< xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Have you tried to restart the server Seems you configured the maximum number of user connections to 4, and there are other apps connected to the server. Reconfigure it to allow more connections if there is no specific reason.
You can try to use osql or sqlcmd see whether you can connect to the server.
btw, I'm not able to see your errorlog file.

please repost your errorlog file.
When you install you sql server, did you choose Windows Authentication or Mixed Authentication If you choose Windows Authentication, you won't be able to connect via sa account.
try the following things:
osql -E -Syourserver
osql -Usa -Syourserver
osql -E -Stcp:yourserver
osql -E -Sadmin:yourserver
Please confirm you are connect to the server locally (same box).
