Installing RS2000

We want to start working with Reporting Services on a Windows Server 2003 (SP1) server that has SQL2000 (SP3) Standard Edition. I thought I could load RS from the CD but it does not appear to be on there. I seem to remember that Microsoft added RS to SQL2000 in the last year or so. Can I download a copy of it, or how do I go about getting a copy and how to I show my boss that it is a legit copy Thanks...

    Hi,

I clicked on the link sited in the previous email to order the cd but the page states that it takes three weeks to get the cd. Does anyone know where you can download RS2000

    Thanks

A Reporting Services CD has been shipped alongside all retail copies of SQL Server 2000 since Jan 2004. If you purchased a retail copy before then, you can get a CD via http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/previousversions/rs/retailfulfillment.mspx. It is also available via download for Enterprise Agreement customers and via MSDN.

RS 2000 was shipped in early 2004 as a separate add-on to SQL 2000. Since then, we have shipped SQL Server 2005 with RS 2005 built right in.

I'm not sure about the availability of RS 2000, now that SQL Server 2005/RS 2005 have shipped. I see that you can download RS 2000 service packs, but I no longer see the links to download RS 2000 itself.
