Hello,
I've recently taken a new database reporting job. One of my first tasks at hand is to write documentation of existing stored procs, functions, views, etc... They would like to have printed Word documents listing the server location, database names, and other specifics of the existing objects within each database (I've already done information flowcharts & program logic). Because my position is now in Finance (no longer IT), these documents need to have a very professional look and feel to them. This is an area of challenge for me.
What I'm looking for are some possible samples or formats. I'd like to be able to tie my flowcharts together with a sort of "objects specifics" page which lists important information about the sp/fnc/vw. I've been scouring the internet for days, but to no avail.
If anyone has any resources they can direct me to, or can point me to a couple of examples it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jason
