After using Visual Studio 2005 for about 2 weeks now, it has crashed about 10 times but the interesting thing is that it just vanishes. No error report, no nothing. Puff, it's just gone. The main window and the process disappear. I can't find any systematic situation where that might happen. Last time it happened I tried to open a different solution from File > Recent projects. I'm just wondering if this is a known issue. I'm using Visual Studio with VSS 6.0c.

Hi,
If the window vanishes but the icon is still in the lower bar, then you can right-click the button and restore the window.
