Current Situation,
Current server is running Win2K OS with SP4 and SQL 2000 database for
customer online transaction with SP4. A max of 450 users need access
this server remotely via internet. Will it be possible to migrate from
SQL 2000 to SQL 2005
The hardware also need to be change. I like to run SQL
Server 2005 Upgrade Advisor on the new server platform that loaded with
SQL 2005 database. Am aware that SQL 2005 do not use Data Transformation Services (DTS) but somekind of SSIS services.
What steps do I need to consider before the upgrade or change over to the new server
