    Unfortunately, your options are very limited here. There is some limited customization you can do by changing the style sheet but any sort of wholesale changes are not really supported. I'm planning on posting a entry about customization on my blog (http://blogs.msdn.com/bwelcker) but haven't gotten to it quite yet.

    The book "Hitchhiker's Guide to SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services" handles this topic extremely well. I would recomend you get a copy of that book.

    Thanks Brian for your response!!

    Our interest here is to be able to lightly customize the look and feel of the customer facing elements of the Report Builder and /or Report Manager to better align with our applications look and feel, color scheme, logos, themes etc.

    For example;
    1. Can we design a CSS to affect the look and feel of the portal
    2. Are any interface elements of the Report Builder able to be customized for look and feel and branding considerations

    suggest us if any of the above is possible

    Regards,
    Shaun

    The Report Builder user interface is not customizable in this release.

    I had same problem and opted to just include SQL reports in my sales portal via the report viewer control.  My portal looks exactly like I want it with all the options I prefer and when they want to view a report, I just show it inside my web site via the report viewer control (actually, I wrote my own report control because the one supplied with Visual Studio is not very good).

    This solution is great if you just want to display reports - you get the reports toolbar and the reports look and work just like normal.  The thing you lose is the interfaces for doing subscriptions, report builder and all the report management tasks.  If you're just looking to diplay the reports, the report viewer control is a great solution.
