I have just downloaded the December CTP 5270 build from my MSDN subscription but the Product key provided on MSDN doesn't work, I have read that I need a new code for this build does any one know when this will be published on MSDN

Hmmm thanks... I have also been using the MSDN CTP key successfully until 5270 - But when I enter it for this build I get an invalid key message :o(

Hello,
I've same problem, because with MSDN subscription, you have 3 keys.
I use old keys and it's bad.
On section "Product Keys", you find :
- Windows "Longhorn" Beta 1Windows "Longhorn" Beta 1 : not good
- Windows "Longhorn" Client Preview (30) : not good
- Windows Vista CTP Builds : good => try this

Steve, you're not alone. I am having an identical problem.
This is happening at the beginning of Setup. The key will not validiate and you cannot install anything.
Has anyone found a workaround Is there a way to request a new CTP key

Me too. I tried both CTP and Beta 1 key but both of them didn’t work. I tried to install Vista CTP on Virtual Server 2005 R2. I’m sure this is NOT issue of Virtual PC.< xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

This problem would appear to be Virtual PC related issue as the CTP key works fine on "Real" hardware :o)

At what point is it failing you 5270 has been accepting the CTP key from my MSDN subscription during installation; but I haven't attempted to actually activate yet. (Just been nuking and re-installing while looking at imaging issues.) Same CTP key I've been using since before 5231, for what it's worth.
