Remember that the SDK is NOT the operating system. The Windows Software Development Kit is a set of tools, samples and documentation that helps to maximize development for Windows platforms. If you want to use Windows Vista, you will need to sign up through the Beta site.

The SDK works on Wndows Vista - I'm running it right now on Vista - and you can keep it in a Vista partition.

You may choose to burn the ISO to a DVD, but that is not necessary.

Re usage, we've found that each user tends to use the SDK in a different way. What's your scenario

    Hope this helps.

I have downloaded the .iso, and I am preparing to use the virtual cd-rom. I am wondering, after I am done with the development, can I save it as the operating system
