after instaling vista on the same drive as xp can i revert back to xp
i am not in the mood for reinstaling my xp all over again.
Can revert back in to XP?

Can revert back in to XP?

This question has nothing to do with Vista development and you should find an appropriate forum to ask it.
However, you should NEVER put two OSes on the same partition. If they are in different partitions, Vista will set up as dual boot, and you can choose every time which OS to run.
