Now, when BETA 1 was released could not wait to try it..
But i had one problem.
i have 2 SATA harddrives, Striped in RAID, on NVIDIA N-Force 4 Controllers..
I also have a normal IDE Harddrive which i want to install Vista on..
Now that is no problem. The problem is, to get vista to see my SATA RAID drives, when im in Vista, under My Computer..
I Read a Windows Vista Beta 1 Hardware Compatibility List, and looked at the:
2.2 IDE/S-ATA/RAID-Controller
Section..
It Said:
Heavy problems, currently incompatible
S-ATA/IDE/RAID-Controller
nVidia nForce4 S-ATA/P-ATA RAID unsupported, no install / nicht unterstutzt, keine Installation mgl. - In Fact it will KILL with prejudice, any raid partition you have set up as it tries to access the partition. - prepare to lose data if your drives are visible to vista.
So i thought there was no chances..
But now, as the newest build came out, i checked the list for the new build..
And then i saw THIS!!:
Has problems, but can be solved
IDE/S-ATA/RAID-Controller
NVIDIA nForce 4 manuelle Installation WinXP IDE SATA_IDE driver version 5.34/5.35 (32 Bit)
Manual installation
Can someone help me out here Someone seems to get it to work..
And it is not listen under the "Heavy Problems" list anymore..
But im such a newbie.. Why havent anyone posted a guide
I dosent help people to just say "Manuelle Install",,
can someone help, please

NFORCE 4 SATA/RAID , Now Working????, im pretty new to this. Please help...
