  That's a pretty general question. Could you be more specific Are you having trouble creating a Web Service Are you having trouble consuming a Web Service from another application Do you intend this Web Service to be used from a Windows application Are you having trouble with how to perform the highlight/selection and sending it to the Web Service Are you having trouble with processing results from the Web Service

  Or, do you simply have an idea and do not know where to start If this is the case, people on these forums donate their spare time to helping other people, you need to put in as much work as you can into what you want to do and then come to the forum with specific problems or questions. No one will have the time to answer really general questions like "how do I write a program that does this".

  Web services talk to client or web apps, a web service does not connect direct to IE.

  Also, you should read the sticky note about how to ask questions, 'again' does not constitute a subject that will attract people who can help you.

  thanx for your reply you have helped me little bit on my problem it is a webservices that will be used from windows application specifically Intrnet Exploere i do not want the code cause i know how to code but i do not know how to integarte it to Internet Exploere to start processing the highlight/selection and sending it to the Web Service

  and thanx for your reply i want to do the following i want to create a webservice tool that do the following when i user read a webpage he can get the meaning of it by highlight the word and get the meaning of it by popup window or linking it to my data base that i got meaning of words save on it or by right click on the word and find it is synonyms
