Is there a timeframe for the language packs for .Net Framework 2.0 Especially the German one.

    Yes, it will be available at least in February 2006. However I read elsewhere that some language packs will be released in December 2005 (I forgot the source for that info).

    The German version of Visual Studio is scheduled for February 2006 (http://www.sie-sind-da.de), so I guess the language packs will be released in the same time frame.

    Why havent the Beta 2 versions of the language packs (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx FamilyID=55a7602e-36f3-4faa-afcd-a5780ff64709&displaylang=en)  progressed to the RTM stage along with the core redist
