I've run the uninstall program, and tried to manually uninstall Framework in order to get the newest version, but it won't let me. It says something along the lines of, "the feature you are trying to use is on a CD-rom or other removable disk." Does anyone have a solution to this problem

you can try the following
open up command line (Start, Run, cmd.exe)
Run aspnet_regiis -ua (reinstalls .net framework)
Uninstalls all versions of ASP.NET on the machine
