I am trying to test using version 2 of the .Net Framework. I cannot get past this error. v1.1.4322 works fine. I have granted the same acls to the v2.0.50727 folder as the v1.1.4322, including the temporary asp .net files folder. I have followed instructions as per http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx kbid=811320.
