Testing web services

The test *.asmx page that Visual Studo generates doesn't support invoking web methods which utilizes ByRef parameters.

Before I go and possibly reinvent the wheel, I'm just wondering if anyone has already written a generic test program to invoke web services with an user-provided SOAP message
