    thanks for the info.

Actually I did mean MSFT guys rarely reply in most of the threads.

I think the forum title related to this kind of chatter.

If you are where the posts are listed you will see this, a description of the forum.

    Windows Live Chatter
Discussion forum for developer topics relating to Windows Live platform, Web 2.0 application and component development.

This sounds to me more like this is the place for general discussion about the live platform, not any chat client. There was microsoft chat some time ago.

Now you got http://chat.msn.com so it would not be surprise if there comes a Live Chat.

    So my replies don't count

    Hello Andreas,

Does that mean we are going to have some bot sort of thing being released or is this for any random comments about live.com

btw why do they start forums without even a single line of introduction thread. Microsoft needs to turn more professionalistic and unfortunately this is not the way. They cannot think that we will figure it ourselves.... this board looks to boring and in most of the forums noone of the MSFT guys reply. Codeproject and gotdotnet are better for such chat. No wonder people are starting to leave microsoft

soon someone will close this ticket even without any reply!!!

I understand your point. What I have seen is that most threads are answered by other users. The questions in these forums are not guaranteed to get any attention from MSFT people but most do get it, some more than others.

If you really need microsofts attention the only official way I know of is  the product support services, but then you also pay for it. Most product usually has some way to give feedback, I have noticed that it is not always obvious on how to do it.

I hope you keep beeing hopeful even if the replies are not from someone employed by microsoft. :)

And yes this is our bad, and we will learn and grow with the community.

Greetings, I am one of the folks tasked to make Windows Live fly as a developer platform. I agree that forums should not be put up with at least a welcoming post - this caused confusion unnecessarily. We'll be careful to do better.

I am personally commited to roam the forums every once in a while and help out on these issues. Your feedback DOES matter to me personally.

Now coming back to the spirit of this forum, we want to hear about the exciting things you are dreaming of, or the things you want to build. The forums tend to become more of a means of tech support a bit too much (namely I have problem A, how do you resolve it). Therefore we created this chatter forum where people can voice their interests, thoughts, or opinions freely. We may not be able to incorporate everything, but for those that we can we'd like to build it into the product (namely the Windows Live developer platform).

For example, I have frustrations when using PC related products that I think can eventually be solved with online services. I'm thinking of posting my personal list of frustrations to this forum so that people can say 'there's already a solution for this', 'I think that's not common enough', 'I concur', 'I'd like to build a solution for that', or some other reply. Then I'm hoping (crossing my fingers) that my pain points will get considered by relevant product teams in MS, and get resolved - that would be beautiful.

Net net, you will hear more from us, on an increasing basis.

    Regards,
