COM interface for Live Messenger

We had a full COM interface for Messenger 5.0 - able to control many aspects of the client as well as receive events etc.

Does WML have such an API/COM interface

    Plans for WLM are stull under way. Give it a wait till the release is out of beta.

    Thanks jbaker - I was looking to get a heads-up on the interface - and also find out when it might be available. We have active customers for our WM5.0 integration that are bugging us for a WLM version. Hopefully they will wait - we really don't want to make a 'kluge' integration just to satisfy them...nothing back from our MS contacts as yet either.

    Thanks Andreas - I agree there does not seem to be an exposed COM interface.

    I have some internal MS contacts that I have pinged on this subject - will update this post if I get anything.

    It does not seem like it does. I looked through the installed files I got and none exposes any functionality except msncall.exe, but that is for placing calls.

    I can also not find any documentation that hints it would support it.
