Mohit is correct. We are working on releasing a standalone device emulator with images for Windows Mobile 2003SE, Windows Mobile 5.0 and MSFP.

The only Windows Mobile 5.0 emulators currently available have the original RTM release, there are no updated images for any of the subsequent AKUs

Thank you very much.
We are currently working to release AKU2/MSFP images as soon as possible.
Additionally, a recent version of CE5.0 BSP is released at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx FamilyID=474b03a6-e87d-455d-bc16-b8cf18ef39b4&displaylang=en. You may want to check this out to roll your custom CE images for Device Emulator.

Thanks. But I can't connect to the PC from the emulator image in any way , it's not good for testing purposes if you want to test activesync.

Thanks for your reply.
I think there was update images available as described in the TECH ED 2005 document named "HOL 123 Administering and Using Exchange Active Sync " where are described the new mobile features available in Exchange 2003 sp2 and Windows Mobile 2005

We are still waiting for Microsoft. A timeframe or anything would be fantastic.
The devices are already on the market and the implementers/developers still don't have anything to test the new MSFP. MS is pushing company's all over and still things are going very slowly at the client side , I certainly hope that the emulator is available half april. At the moment we have all kind of questions from big Telco’s here in The Netherlands about all settings and recommended configurations but we aren't able to test the functionality extensively.

My question is will the emulator with AKU2 support the Exchange push technology It's not supported using WiFi. The justification for not supporting WiFi is that since when the device hibernates it shuts the WiFi connection down so the connection can't be maintained (GPRS on the otherhand continues to work for the cell phone while the device hibernates). Therefore it's written to not even allow push over WiFi even if I'm willing to accept that the connection will broken when the device hibernates.
My concern is that the emulator will emulate this function and not allow push over the network connection
