I've answered this question about a week ago, please use search on top of the page to find an answer. Keywords "camera capture" should do it. Thanks.< xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Hm... my equipment: a pda with windows mobile 2003 second edition and a compact camera by pretec (1,3 Mpx, Compact Flash).
Maybe, I explain you what I want to do: I want to get the current image taken by the camera to make some image calculations (i.e. get specific pixel values etc.). I don't want to save the video to memory...I only want to get the current picture.

You should contact Pretec and ask for a camera API. Unfortunately, without an API you can't even get a single pixel from this camera programmatically.

You can use whatever’s provided by manufacturer and/or 3rd parties. If nothing's provided, you can not capture image on this device.
