    Looking like all that is needed is installed IIS before hand and it should work just fine.

    I am developing an application windows mobile 5.0 using C#.net . my application having menubar at the bottom left which is having 4 menuitems and also have one button which for user validation and iwan to show the menu items on Button_Click() event instead of menu_click() event i searched on net but i didnot get any solution ,so pls anyone give me answer of my question.

    am calling an menu_click() event in button_click();

    it call the menu_click() event but did't pupulate the menuitems

    Yes even ifyou have VS 2005, you have to do a full install to get WM 5.0 Development enabled.

    I've just received the wm5 developer resource kit.
    Seemed to install OK, and the documentation all looks good.

    Tried to install wefly247-50 but it fails with:
    WeFly247-50 Web Install Error
    Failure installing WeFly247-50 .WebService. Unknown error (0x80005000).

    Proceeds then to Rollback, and has an exception during the Rollback.
    Leaves just a .tmp file behind...
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft WeFly247-50\Installation\TBD44.tmp

    I've tried the default install path, and shorter ones, and have lots of space. I've tried copy to hard drive and install from there. So far always fails the same way. Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or what to try next

    I should have made sure IIS was installed first.
    WeFly247-5 has installed OK now...
